病院側で患者さんの他病院の診察履歴など確認できる？

かかりつけの歯医者さんを変更しようとおもっているのですが
その歯医者さんが割りと 近隣同士なので なにか変に気を使われては嫌なので
これまで遠方の歯医者さんにかかっていたと告げようと思うのですが

・・ 病院サイドで、これまで受けてきた診察の履歴を
なにか保険適用などのデータなどをみて 確認することなどできるのでしょうか？
どなたかおわかりになる方がいたら 教えてくださ…
