後遺症について

５月１９日に友人の母親が階段から落ち前頭葉辺りを強く打ち病院に運ばれ一時意識不明でしたが今現在意識は回復したとの事。医者から脳に障害が出るかも知れないと言われたそうなんですが、その場合考えられる後遺症はどのようなものですか？
半身麻痺になる可能性ってありますか？
教えて下さい。
