心肺停止から人口呼吸器

母は８０歳で脱水症、尿路感染症、ごえん性肺炎を過去にも三回併発してます。
数日前に痰絡みの咳を繰り返し熱も39℃と発熱し病院へ外来受診しましたが尿検査と採血中に心肺停止状態となりました。
医師もあきらめかけていたと言ってましたが戻ってくれました。
しかし心肺停止状態２５分と長く低酸素脳症となり自発呼吸も浅く医師からは、自然にこのままか
人口呼吸器を付けるかの選択を早急に求められました。
