スタチン使用中でもHDL-c低値なら心血管イベントに注意

　スタチンはLDLコレステロール（LDL-c）値を下げ、心筋梗塞リスクを低下させるが、スタチンを使用している患者にも心血管イベントは発生する。米Tufts大学のHaseeb Jafri氏らは、大規模な無作為化試験を対象にメタ分析を行い、スタチン使用はHDLコレステロール（HDL-c）値と心血管イベントリスクの関係には影響を与えないこと、スタチン使用中であってもHDL-c低値の患者の心血管イベント発生率はスタチン非使用者と同様であることを明らかにした。論文は、Ann Intern Med誌2010年12月20日号に掲載された。　続きは...
