精神科では身体拘束中の患者さんの観察は15分おきに行うことが推奨（義務？）されていますが、その根拠はなぜでしょうか？
いろいろな文献を調べても、「15分おきの巡視」というフレーズは見かけますが、その根拠がわかりません。
ご存じの方がおりましたらお教え願います。
